Don't Miss a Beat at Unity! Flexible Class Make-up Options
Life gets busy, but we understand how important consistency is for your little dancer’s journey! Here at Unity, we offer three convenient make-up options to ensure your child doesn't miss out on the fun:
1. In-Person Make-up: Join another First Steps class of the same age group (subject to space availability). This allows your child to stay connected with the curriculum and make new friends!
2. At-Home Practice: Can't make it to a make-up class? No problem! Log into your parent portal to access a recorded class for you and your little dancer to enjoy at home together. Revisit the fun together and solidify the learned skills!
3. Zoom in the Fun: Can’t get to the studio, but still want to participate? Hop online and join the class via Zoom! This allows your little dancer to stay engaged and connected with their classmates, even if they can't be there in person.
With these flexible options, you can rest assured that even with a missed class, you and your little one can continue their dance adventure without falling behind!

Payment Policy Statement:
We require AutoPay with a card or bank account connected to your parent portal.
Payments will be processed on the 15th of each month.
If after attending 4 classes, your child isn't absolutely thrilled, simply let us know and we will push pause on your enrollment, and there will be no further charges.
Pausing enrollment does not guarantee your child's spot in the future.
We are unable to offer refunds for enrollment fees or trial fees.

Our First Steps classes are open and welcome to all dancers in the appropriate age for the class. No prior dance experience is needed or required to join our First Stepss classes.

Come as you are comfortable! If you have received your attire package (Unity T-shirt, shorts, and grippy socks) you are welcome to rock their First Steps outfit. Otherwise, anything your kiddo is comfortable moving and grooving in that day. Barefeet or socks are recommended. No need to purchase a leotard and ballet shoes, but if your little one wants to rock a tutu, we welcome that too!

Yes, absolutely! We have an observation window and you can also watch them through our glass studio door. Periodically, we will have observation days for our grownups. We’ll be sure to let you know as these dates arrive. We also offer SPOT TV where you can watch your child on your electronic device with an app.

Entering a new space with new people and new activities can often times bring upon many emotions for the young developing child. Below are some behaviors you may notice your child experience as they become familiar with dance class. Rest assured that all behaviors are developmentally appropriate. With your support, we will work together to make this a successful and positive experience. Thank you for trusting us with your child and their dance education.
Please Note- This information is intended as a general guide. Every child is different and should be evaluated individually. Open communication between the caregiver, dance teacher, and studio staff is crucial for classroom success.
*It can take up to four weeks (or more) of consistent attendance for a child to fully adjust, which is why our 100% Happiness Guarantee is four classes.
